Yael Stone

Stone was born and raised at Sydney, Australia. She was a student at her school, the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts as well as the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone began her acting career as a child, with roles in the movie Me Myself I and the miniseries The Farm. She worked primarily in theater. At the 2008 Sydney Theatre Awards, she was awarded the Best Newcomer as well as Best supporting actress for her work on The Kid. Her television work included supporting characters in All Saints, Spirited and various other television shows. In 2010, she appeared on the screen in The Diary of a Madman. It earned her a second nomination at the Sydney Theatre Awards as Best Supporting Actress. In February of 2011 she went to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production The Diary of a Madman prior to returning for lead roles in A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, and As You Like It in Sydney.
